Why program?
the Group

Programming Sona Umroyan & Saribekyan Trio means offering a unique musical experience, at the crossroads of contemporary jazz and Armenian heritage.

The project develops an aesthetic that is still rare on European scenes: a rooted, open and immediately accessible jazz, capable of appealing to both jazz lovers and audiences curious about cultural discoveries.

The group adapts to different contexts:

• Festivals (jazz, world music, improvised music)
• Concert halls and theatres
• Jazz & World Scenes
• Institutional and diplomatic events
• Cultural activities, mediation, masterclasses

Programming the group means inviting a strong musical identity, a dialogue between tradition and modernity, and a memorable artistic experience.
